17th European Association of Social Anthropologists Biennial Conference “Transformation, Hope and the Commons”, Belfast 26-29 July 2022
Serdecznie zapraszamy do zgłaszania referatów na 17th European Association of Social Anthropologists Biennial Conference “Transformation, Hope and the Commons”, która odbędzie się w formie hybrydowej w Belfaście w dniach 26 - 29 lipca.
P109: Restorative approaches in a world of punitive populisms poprowadzą Olga Jubany (Universitat de Barcelona), Janina Radziszewska (Uniwersytet Wrocławski) i Jose Antonio Langarita (Universitat de Girona)
Short Abstract: Restorative justice contrasts existing justice practices and expectations, particularly under punitive populist discourses. Context-specific negotiations and conflicts may arise around the potential application of restorative approaches that can transform societal justice values and expectations.
P173 Transforming the future: Gender/sexual citizenship and the horizons of hope (Network for the Anthropology of Gender and Sexuality) poprowadzą Monika Baer (Uniwersytet Wrocławski ) i An Van (Universiteit Gent)
Short abstract: By means of ethnographically and theoretically informed case studies, the panel seeks to explore the dynamics of gender/sexual citizenship as a site of social and political mobilization in grassroots settings, which gives hope to transform the oppressive present.
